Types of data subject to processing
The Controller will process personal data as defined by the Regulation, including, but not limited to, your name, surname, contact details, and data related to your job position.
Purpose, legal basis, and optional nature of the processing
Your Personal Data will be processed in order to contact you to provide commercial information. The legal basis is consent; your lack of consent to the aforementioned purpose will prevent the Controller from fulfilling the request. Providing your Personal Data for the above purposes is optional, but failure to do so will make it impossible to contact you for commercial purposes.
Recipients of personal data
Your Personal Data will not be shared with other parties, except for individuals authorized by the Controller to process personal data upon signing a confidentiality agreement (e.g., employees and collaborators of BCI EUROPE S.R.L.). Regarding the possible transfer of Data to Third Countries, the Controller informs that the processing will occur in accordance with one of the modalities allowed by current law, such as the consent of the data subject, the adoption of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, the selection of subjects adhering to international programs for the free movement of data, or operating in countries considered safe by the European Commission. More information is available upon request from the Controller.
Retention of personal data
Your Personal Data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose of commercial communication and until you explicitly withdraw consent to further processing and/or request the deletion of your personal data from our database. However, further retention may be required by applicable law.
Your rights
You have the right to request from the Controller, at any time, access to your Personal Data, rectification or erasure of the same, or to object to their processing. You also have the right to request the restriction of processing in cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, the data concerning you, in cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulation. Requests should be addressed in writing to the Controller at the following address: info@melpo.eu. In any case, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data is contrary to applicable law.
